Themed “AI Has Landed,” spotlighting the AI transformation underway on the factory floor

SEOUL, South Korea, August 20, 2026 — MakinaRocks, South Korea’s leading Physical AI company, will host its flagship AI conference, ATTENTION 2026, on September 3 at The Westin Seoul Parnas. The event is now in its third year.
This year’s theme, “AI Has Landed,” frames the program around the path AI has taken to reach the factory floor and the operational change it has produced there. Speakers and participating organizations include Doosan Enerbility, Hankook & Company Group, HD Hyundai, Samsung Electronics, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, DENSO Korea, YES24, LG AI Research, Samsung SDS, TwelveLabs, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Rebellions, among others.
The morning opens with keynote sessions. Andre S. Yoon, CEO of MakinaRocks, will make the case for Enterprise AI Sovereignty (EAS) — the argument that companies deploying AI in production need to own the stack it runs on. He will be followed by Yongjin Song, President of Doosan Enerbility; Sungjin Kim, CDO and CIO of Hankook & Company Group; Youngok Kim, CAIO of HD Hyundai; and Stefan Hudelmaier, Director of Cloud Architecture at Device Insight. Each will present how their organization is deploying Physical AI and building toward AI sovereignty in production environments.
The afternoon is organized into three tracks and 15 sessions.
The Industrial AI track covers field-level deployments: Samsung Electronics on AI-based equipment management built for semiconductor manufacturing, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering on Physics-Aware AI anomaly detection, and DENSO Korea on reliability test automation. MakinaRocks will present its energy optimization work and its AI for engineering drawings.
The AI OS track centers on Runway, MakinaRocks’ AI operating system, which unifies development, deployment, GPU management, and security in a single layer. Sessions cover how enterprises use that layer to secure AI sovereignty, with deployment cases from SurplusGLOBAL, YC Corporation, and YES24.
The Defense AI track features Professor Sanghee Kim of KAIST, along with LG AI Research, Samsung SDS and TwelveLabs, on extending AI into defense and battlefield applications.
Eight demo booths will run alongside the sessions, hosted by MakinaRocks and partners including LG AI Research, TwelveLabs, KRM, Rebellions, and AWS. The booths span AI semiconductors, AI infrastructure, foundation models, and industry-specific AI solutions. A consultation desk will also be open for Runway Inside, MakinaRocks’ partnership program, which enables partners with AI, data, and domain expertise to build their own solutions on Runway and generate recurring revenue from them.
