MakinaRocks signs MOU with Enertork, Korea’s leading electric actuator manufacturer, to build one of the country’s first AI-native factories for a mid-market manufacturer

Three-year roadmap spans office automation to robotics, accelerating real-world AI transformation on the factory floor

SEOUL, South Korea, July 24, 2026 ― MakinaRocks, South Korea’s leading Physical AI company, today announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Enertork, a leading manufacturer of electric actuators, to jointly build an AI-native factory. The agreement establishes a strategic partnership to apply AI across Enertork’s manufacturing operations as part of a long-term transformation initiative. The two companies’ CEOs signed the agreement on July 23 at Enertork’s manufacturing facility in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province.

Building a blueprint for AI-native manufacturing

Under a roadmap spanning more than three years, the partnership will transform Enertork’s manufacturing plant into an AI-native operation. The scope of collaboration includes:

  • AI agents for office and administrative workflows
  • AI-driven optimization of production processes
  • Robotics and physical AI for shop-floor automation
  • Data infrastructure and operating systems to support AI-native factory

MakinaRocks will oversee the full lifecycle of the initiative—from identifying high-value use cases to on-site deployment and operational performance management—creating what the company believes is Korea’s first end-to-end AI transformation (AX) model designed specifically for a mid-market manufacturer.

Building on the results of the Enertork deployment, MakinaRocks plans to establish a repeatable blueprint for AI transformation that can be extended across small and mid-sized manufacturers. Rather than limiting AI adoption to isolated proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, the company aims to combine its AI technology with shared accountability for measurable business outcomes, helping manufacturers achieve sustainable operational improvements at scale.

Enertork accelerates manufacturing competitiveness through AI

Founded in 1987, Enertork is Korea’s leading manufacturer of electric actuators for valves and dampers. Serving industries including power generation, water and wastewater treatment, agriculture, steel, petrochemicals, and gas, the company pioneered domestic production in a market once entirely dependent on imports and today holds the largest market share in Korea. Listed on the KOSDAQ exchange, Enertork continues expanding its presence in global markets.

Through this partnership, Enertork plans to deploy AI across both administrative functions and production operations, targeting improvements in cost, quality, delivery performance, and overall operational efficiency as part of its company-wide digital transformation strategy. The initiative is expected to enhance productivity while strengthening long-term enterprise value.

“Manufacturing is an industry where cost, quality, and delivery must all be achieved simultaneously,” said Chung-Yeol Lee, CEO of Enertork. “Together with MakinaRocks, we will drive AI transformation across both our office functions and production processes to further strengthen our manufacturing competitiveness and build a foundation for sustainable growth in global markets.”

“This partnership marks the first step in bringing MakinaRocks’ proven AI transformation capabilities to mid-market manufacturers,” said Andre S. Yoon, CEO of MakinaRocks. “As a partner that shares accountability for outcomes, we’re committed to delivering measurable improvements on the factory floor and creating a repeatable model for AI transformation that manufacturers across Korea and beyond can build on.”
